Another mass shooting is being reported in Boulder, Colo., where a Syrian man by the name of Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa allegedly shot and killed 10 people at a King Soopers grocery store.
The 21-year-old man, who looks closer to about 50, faces 10 counts of first-degree murder after he allegedly sprayed the place with bullets as some shoppers were being injected with Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccines.
Gov. Jared Polis, who has kept Colorado on lockdown for many months, issued a statement condemning Alissa and promising to “hold the evildoer responsible to the full extent of the law for his actions.”
Occurring on March 22, or 3/22, also known as Skull and Bones Day, the alleged mass shooting is the second in a little over the week, following another alleged mass shooting in the Atlanta area that reportedly left eight people dead.
Alissa’s now-deleted Facebook page supposedly contained posts about Islam as well as complaints about “Islamophobia” and being bullied in high school. It also talked about Muslim prayers and religious holidays along with Alissa’s fears about possibly being under surveillance.
“Yeah if these racist islamophobic people would stop hacking my life phone and let me have a normal life I probably could,” read one entry from July 2019 that was allegedly posted by Alissa. The page also revealed that Alissa was “born in Syrian in 1999 and came to the USA in 2002.”
Following the 2019 mosque massacre that was reported in Christchurch, New Zealand, Alissa put up a post condemning people who disapprove of Islam.
“The Muslims at the #christchurch mosque were not the victims of a single shooter,” the post read. “They were the victims of the entire Islamophobia industry that vilified them.”
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) conveniently claims to have already known Alissa’s identity because he is linked to another individual currently under investigation by the agency. Who that person is and why they are under investigation by the FBI has not been publicly revealed.
Alissa had reportedly purchased a Ruger AR-556 pistol on March 16, a little less than a week before the shooting. He was shot in the leg during the melee and is being hospitalized in stable condition.
“Why did this happen?” asked Boulder County District Attorney Michael Dougherty during a briefing about the shooting. “We don’t have the answer to that yet, and the investigation is in its very early stages.”
According to Alissa’s older brother, Alissa is mentally ill.
“When he was having lunch with my sister in a restaurant he said, ‘People are in the parking lot, they are looking for me,” the 34-year-old man told The Daily Beast.
“She went out and there was no one. We didn’t know what was going on in his head.”
Alissa’s older brother further described the suspect as having been “very anti-social” in high school, and was constantly worried that he was “being chased” or that someone was “behind him” or was “looking for him.”
Back in 2017, Alissa was busted for “cold cocking” a classmate at school, which left the classmate with bruises, swelling, and cuts to the head. The incident allegedly occurred because the victim “had made fun of [Alissa] and called him racial names weeks earlier.”
Alissa was busted a second time in 2018 for criminal mischief, though details on that case, including its outcome, were not immediately available.
“[It was] not at all a political statement,” Alissa’s brother added, somehow knowing his brother’s motives. “The guy used to get bullied a lot in high school. He was … an outgoing kid but after he went to high school and got bullied a lot, he started becoming anti-social.”
