“Let us use the Constitution to strengthen our argument and our movement. We have a First Amendment right to speak and assemble, and we better use it. The internet’s hall monitors out in Silicon Valley, they think they can suppress us, discourage us — maybe if you’re just a little less patriotic, maybe if you just conform to their way of thinking a little more, you’ll be allowed to participate in the digital world,” Gaetz said. “Well, you know what? Silicon Valley can’t cancel this movement or this rally or this congressman.”
“We have a Second Amendment in this country, and I think we have an obligation to use it. The Second Amendment – this is a little history lesson for all the fake news media. The Second Amendment is not about, it’s not about hunting, it’s not about recreation, it’s not about sports,” continued Gaetz.
“The Second Amendment is about maintaining, within the citizenry, the ability to maintain an armed rebellion against the government if that becomes necessary. I hope it never does, but it sure is important to recognize the founding principles of this nation, and to make sure that they are fully understood,” Gaetz proclaimed, drawing loud cheers from the energetic Dalton crowd.

“Oh they hate that. That’ll be the part that gets me kicked off YouTube, talking about our rights and our freedoms,” Gaetz jokingly said after his Second Amendment remarks.
As the New York Post reported, the Congressman’s bold remarks “drew a rebuke from Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.), who tweeted: “This is not speech protected by the first amendment. This is beyond yelling fire in a theater” — an incorrect paraphrase of a now-overturned 1919 Supreme Court ruling that held that opposing the military draft was not protected speech.”
The speech that @AdamKinzinger is trying to declare criminal here as outside the bounds of the First Amendment is virtually identical to the speech that the US Supreme Court unanimously ruled in Brandenburg v. Ohio (1969) was protected political speech:https://t.co/hnkeX7Uoka pic.twitter.com/WJmk1vLnYh

During her speech at the Dalton rally, Rep. Greene spoke out against the Biden regime’s anti-Second Amendment Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms nominee David Chipman, the former ATF agent who defended the federal government’s massacre at the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas and currently supports an unconstitutional ban on the AR-15 rifle.
“So when Joe Biden’s pick for the ATF is up there talking about trying to explain what a semi-automatic rifle is, and talking about an AR and doesn’t even know what it means, we’re all sitting at home laughing at him, taking care of our gun collection, reminding our state leaders that they better pass Constitutional Carry,” said Greene. “I think that should get done. As a matter of fact, I’ll make a phone call for you all about that one and remind someone how important it is. I remember that promise, I do.”
With our Second Amendment rights under attack like never before from Washington, DC, it's long past time for Georgia to pass Constitutional Carry! #2A
In 21 states you don't have to ask government for permission to exercise your 2A rights … let's make this happen, Georgia! pic.twitter.com/ShI9kAnntd
